Gourds Gig of the Week: New Year’s Eve 2005

Live at New Year’s Eve Jovita’s Cantina Austin Texas on 2005-12-31

BRING ON THE DANCING HORSES!!

The Gourds chase out 2005 at Jovita’s Cantina, a former favorite South Austin haunt. This High Holiday always brings out the fun new cover songs and this night did not disappoint.
Louisiana Saturday Night, Lord I Hope this Day is Good, Bring On the Dancing Horses, Sunday Morning and Ramblin’ Gamblin’ Man make this a very unique night. The night kicks off with Jimmy and Kevin trading songs solo swap style to start the festivities. Throw in a Ramsay Midwood appearance and a little Joey Thompson guesting on guitar and you probably won’t need those black-eyed peas tomorrow. – Duck
